Most car insurance companies require that EVERY licensed driver in the household be listed on the insurance. If your mom’s company has this policy, and you get caught driving, she could get dropped from her company and they wouldn’t cover any damages caused by you to the car or to other cars.
If that’s not the case, then some have a clause that any person not listed on the insurance has to be 25 in order to be covered.
Then there are a few that will cover anyone who drives the car.
Have your mom call and ask just to be safe.
